The town of Saint-Jérôme, Quebec is located near Mirabel, about 40 kilometres northwest of Montreal along Autoroute des Laurentides. Saint-Jérôme is home to CEGEP de Saint-Jérôme, a College of General and Vocational Education. Saint-Jérôme serves as a gateway to Laurentian mountains resorts. The town is also an important stop on the North-South trunk of the "route verte" cycling path which makes it possible for nature lovers who are also pedaling enthusiasts to make short trips or excursions lasting several days.
