Brossard is located in southwestern Quebec and is bordered by the St. Lawrence River and the Saint-Jacques River to the south. The city was founded on February 14, 1958. Named after legendary Formula 1 racecar driver and local Quebec icon, Gilles Villeneuve. The Circuit Gilleneuve is the site of the annual Canadian Grand Prix, and the only Canadian stop on the F1 circuit.
La Ronde (Member of the Six Flags Family)
La Ronde offers more than 40 rides and attractions, dazzling shows, as well as entertainment. This large amusement park is just a few steps from downtown Montreal. It produces and presents the Mondial SAQ, the annual Montréal International Fireworks Competition, the annual Benson and Hedges fireworks competition and the Halloween Fright Fest every weekend in October. Olympic Stadium
Originally built as the focal point for the Olympic Games held in Montreal in 1976 and used for the opening ceremonies. Today it is home to the Montreal Expos. Soon after the arrival of the Expos, the venue would play host to some spectacular events, including an attendance record-setting concert by Pink Floyd and a visit from Pope John Paul II.
